Hackney Music Development Trust (HMDT) helps harness the vibrancy, creativity and variety in Hackney to make music fundamental to the life of the Borough. Ongoing projects include the Operaction community opera and language skills project which will culminate in a large-scale performance at the Hackney Empire in November 2004.
