Since New Sussex Opera was set up 25 years ago with nothing more than the passion and determination of a group of opera lovers, the company has transformed itself into a dynamic ensemble competing with the best touring opera companies in the UK and bringing opera to new audiences with its outreach work. NSO combines successfully the powerful mix of well-established names with young and up-and-coming talent. Past highlights of this small companyıs curriculum vitae include the British premières of Kurt Weill's Lost in the Stars, Tchaikovsky's The Enchantress and von Einem's Danton's Death.
